Alternate Pic View ExeSlide allows you to load up your favorite photos and create a slideshow as a GIF, EXE, or even a screensaver.
Alternate Pic View ExeSlide is a mouthful, but it hits all the checkpoints you want from a good app. Adding pictures is as easy as dragging and dropping into the main window. You can then decide what you want to make - an animated GIF, an executable, screen saver, Flash slide show, or an AVI (movie). For some reason, you can also create it with built-in games.
Once you've loaded in all of your pictures, you can create your slideshow in any of the ways mentioned. But you can also adjust the settings of the slideshow and pictures. For the slideshow options, you can play it on startup, loop, hide the mouse cursor, select background music, display time, and more. Picture options give you the choice of transparency, compression, rotation, picture size, and more.
A "Slideshow" button is available to preview your creation. To complete your slideshow, choose "File" and select from one of the choices or click one of the buttons on the top navigation bar. Not happy with the choices you made? Go to "File," "Open," then "Edit" to add or remove files from your slideshow.
Alternate Pic View ExeSlide is free and easy to use. If you ever wanted to create a slideshow of a special event, it doesn't get much simpler than this.
