BabelPad is a free text editor that's simple enough for anyone to use but has enough features for programmers and geeks.
We must admit this one was easy to overlook with its name, but its main purpose is supporting the proper rendering of most complex scripts, as well as allowing you to assign different fonts to different scripts to facilitate multi-script text editing.
Yes, it’s still a text editor with a simple to use interface and more options than you could possibly use. We wanted to list some of the features here or copy and paste them from the author’s page, but seriously we’re talking 4-5 pages of features.
Give it a try; you'll see what we mean. BabelPad is portable, so no installation is required.
