Earth Live Sharp fetches live satellite images from Himawari 8, a Japanese weather satellite, and display the images as your desktop wallpaper.
Earth Live Sharp is a portable app. Extract the files and run the executable.
We found a few issues, but nothing that would keep us from using Earth Live Sharp. Initially, the images didn't load, but one has to allow for the images to download. When we closed the app, our default wallpaper wasn't restored.
Right-click the tray icon to access settings. You can change image quality, zoom percentage, update intervals, auto start or save, and more.
We've always been fans of wallpapers that add something beyond static images, and Earth Live Sharp delivers precisely that.
