NetSpeedMonitor, designed for Windows taskbar network monitoring providing you with at-a-glance upload/download speeds.
There is one crucial detail for using NetSpeedMonitor. You must change the compatibility mode, or it will not allow you to install on Windows 8 or 10. For those that do not know how to change the compatibility mode of a file, do not fear - it is simple. Go to the file or shortcut file for the app (we zipped 32 and 64 Bit together for your convenience). Then right-click on it and select Properties from the pop-up menu. Once open, navigate down to the Compatibility tab. From the Compatibility mode section, you will need to check the Run This Program in Compatibility mode - that's it, you should be good to go.
NetSpeedMonitor runs silently down in the systray detailing your current download and upload speeds, keeping you apprised of any fluctuations in service. It is displayed through a straightforward UI that lends itself for use by any skill level user, making it an excellent addition for anyone wanting to monitor upload and download values.
