uTorrent is one of the most popular torrent downloading programs based on BitTorrent. It was designed to use minimal resources. Video tutorial available.
It's a torrent client we have used for years and gave up on it in July 2017. It has become more bloated over the years than initially planned but remains a solid choice. Because it is Ad-Supported, sometimes, you need to be careful during the install to decline additional software. Ads are now displayed within the program.
As long as you can get past that, it's still a good choice used by millions. More recently, it crashed our computers with a driver error for a wireless network card we don't have.
