How to Enable or Disable Brave Rewards (BAT) in Brave Browser
Brave is a web browser based on the Chromium source code to give you a faster and more secure, private browsing experience. Brave now offers BAT, or Basic Attention Token, as an optional way to earn tokens (Crypto) and support content creators. Here's how to enable or disable BAT.
BAT goes by a couple of names, including Brave Rewards, BAT, Basic Attention Token, Brave private ads, or Rewards.
Brave Rewards gives you the option to view first-party, privacy-protecting ads while you browse (these ads are from the Brave Private Ads network). You earn BAT via the Brave Rewards program if you choose to view them.
You can keep Brave Rewards like any other crypto asset or use it to tip the content publishers you love. Brave even gives you a secure way to store BAT (and any other crypto asset) with Brave Wallet.
While Brave Rewards isn't bad for publishers like us, the program is optional. Here's how to opt-out or opt-in of BAT in the Brave browser.
