Remove or Reinstall Internet Explorer 11 From Windows 10
Some of us geeks prefer to remove Internet Explorer 11 from our computers completely. We tend to prefer a Firefox or Chromium-based web browser. Even though Internet Explorer was replaced with Microsoft Edge, the 1995 web browser is still on your computer. Luckily, removing Internet Explorer 11 is easy to do.
Should you need to reinstall Internet Explorer for any reason, you can follow both the steps below as well.
Remove Internet Explorer 11
Press the Windows key + S and begin typing in manage optional features until you see "manage optional features" and click on that.
You will see a list of optional features you can remove. Scroll down until you find Internet Explorer 11. Click on that, then click on Uninstall. There's nothing to see or display, but within seconds Internet Explorer 11 should be gone from the list.
Reboot to complete the removal.
Reinstall Internet Explorer 11
But, what happens if the day comes where you want Internet Explorer 11 back? Once again press the Windows key + S and begin typing in manage optional features until you see "manage optional features" and click on that.
Near the top, look for and click on Add a feature.
Scroll down until you see Internet Explorer 11 and click on Install.
Once again, Internet Explorer 11 will reinstall within seconds so you can reboot now and Internet Explorer will be back.
Finally, those who have replaced Windows Media Player can remove that as well from the same manage optional features section.
