Windows 10 allows you to sign out (and even another person to log in) without restarting the computer. Here are nine ways to sign out of Windows 10.
Many of us don't often use the sign-out feature or aren't aware of the many ways that you can. Hopefully, with this tutorial, using the sign out feature will be much more accessible to you, starting with the most commonly used and working our way down to the lesser-known methods. Many of these methods are also available in Windows 7 and 8.
1: Sign out of Windows 10 in Start Menu
Click Start, then click on your username. Click Sign out.
2: Sign out of Windows 10 Using Win+X
Press the Windows Key + X. Expand Shut down or sign out and click on Sign out.
3: Sign out of Windows 10 Using Ctrl + Alt + Del
Press Ctrl + Alt + Del. Click on Sign out.
4: Sign out of Windows 10 Using Alt + F4
Press Alt + F4. Click on the drop-down menu and click Sign out.

If you're already in Task Manager, click on the Users tab. Right-click on your username, and click on Sign off.
If you happen to be in the Command Prompt or PowerShell, type in shutdown /l to log off or shutdown /l /f to close all apps and log off and press Enter.

Another great option is to log off everyone but you.
