How to Turn On or Off USB Issue Notifications in Windows 10
By Timothy Tibbetts |
Windows 10 will notify you if a problem is detected with a USB drive. You can turn these notifications on or off if you want.
Error messages include "There's a problem with this drive" and "USB Device not recognized." Note that, for whatever reason, turning off USB issue notification does not turn off all notifications.
Click on Start > Settings > Devices. Click on USB on the left.
Check or uncheck Notify me if there are issues connecting to the USB devices.
No reboot is required.
