Around The World is the cyber version of a neighborhood ball shooting game from a simpler time long gone.
Most of us have engaged in this beloved pastime standing around the driveway or curb positioned basketball net taking turns shooting baskets. With Around The World, you can enjoy a quick game from your PC. You have the option to play the machine or with three other players.
The object of Around the World is to move from one designated point to another, successfully making a basket with each shot. Once you make it from all the positions and reach the starting point again, you are declared the winner. In this particular scenario, you need to pretend that the environment you are in is a driveway, connected to a street on one side, with the basketball pole and net in the middle. You will see the driveway divided into sections, and the path you and the other players take will consist of various points where the lines intersect.
Around The World doesn't feature over the top graphics or mind-blowing sound which we felt added to the nostalgia conjuring up memories of warm mid-summer nights playing out on the road with the gang until the street lights flickered on.
