Classic Volume Mixer is an Open Source tool that brings the smaller streamlined sound mixer back to Windows 11.
Microsoft replaced the sound mixer with a larger one, which some may feel is too big. Classic Volume Mixer brings back the smaller classic mixer still available in system32.
What Classic Volume Mixer does is add a new systray icon to launch the old mixer. The Author recommends placing this app in your startup folder eliminating the need to start each reboot.
Classic Volume Mixer is super simple, run, and done.
