ClearLNK can fix shortcuts (mainly browser .lnk) that were changed due to the infection of malware or other harmful software.

To use ClearLNK, you want to check browser shortcuts by running Check Browsers' LNK.exe. Then unpack and run ClearLNK.exe. Now drag & drop the report file you created to ClearLNK. Now, copy the list of shortcuts, start ClearLNK, paste this list to the window and click the button "Cure."

A LOG file will be created so you can upload it when needed on any support forum you are using. It should be used by advanced users only.

Limitations:
