DUMo (Drivers Update Monitor) keeps your PC up-to-date & safe using the most recent version of required hardware drivers.
The days of downloading individual drivers are nearly over. We have several programs on Majorgeeks that do a great job, though with limitations like speed or a required account. KC Software comes into the game with DUMo (Drivers Update Monitor). After installing the program, it correctly detected all of our drivers, as we know that several were out of date at testing. It even detected Acronis virtual disk software as a driver. The program also shows CPU and memory load. You can refresh the list anytime to see if anything is new. As of the first release, DUMo lacks a batch installer option, which we expect to see in a future version. Otherwise, this one is worth a shot.
DUMo (Drivers Update Monitor) Features:
Automatic detection of installed hardware
Detects required drivers according to your version of Microsoft Windows
More compatibility and fewer false-positive than others Drivers Monitors
Limitations:
The free version only offers automatic devices detection and OS-based analysis. For $17.10 you gain access to all features listed above as well as direct link to manufacturers, enhanced performances, automatic self-update, and priority support.
SUMo (or Software Update Monitor) quickly scans your machine for out-of-date software, lists them all, and then provides an option to update directly with MajorGeeks.
