ExecTI is a portable app that allows you to run and access files and registry entries owned by the TrustedInstaller account.

TrustedInstaller.exe is part of the Windows Modules Installer service found in Windows Vista through Windows 10. It enables installation, removal, and even the modification of Windows Updates and optional system components.

Often it is debated whether you can disable it or not. If you disable TrustedInstaller, you risk breaking Windows Updates.

Extract all files to a folder and run ExecTI.exe. A small window appears with the option to browse for a file. Once you select the file to run, just press OK. Otherwise, you can click Quit or close the program with the X in the top right. Depending on the size of the program you're trying to run, it might take a minute.

ExecTI solves the TrustedInstaller blocking by allowing you to run executables and other difficult files including command and batch files.
