ip2c (IP to country) provides details about the country associated with a target IP address.
ip2c is configured to query five whois servers designated to a specific region and then attempts to establish location data for that address. It provides you with the TLD (the US, for example), extended country name, region, and a string comprised of a short description for the organization managing the block of IP addresses containing the target IP.
ip2c is multithreaded and will perform queries on all the servers in parallel. This action is meant to minimize the overall response time.
The ip2c download contains a command-line application and a Windows GUI application offering you a little bit of choice when using. The GUI version will be a good choice for those uncomfortable using the command-line.
Simple Port Forwarding works with webpages and not directly with your router making it a safe program to use. Supports 52 Languages and 2600+ routers. Portable version also available.
