Local area networks are difficult and stressful to manage. Especially in organizations that have practically non-existent IT support. LanTool can help with such tasks, and because it runs as a system service, it is available even before a user logs in.
Some of the features LanTool supports:
- Remote shutdowns/restarts/suspends/hibernates/session locking
- Remote process kill/suspend/resume and priority changes.
- Remote information: username, system uptime, MAC/IP addresses, hardware connected, software installed, processes running, OS details, system load and more.
- Notifications: Login/logoff events, screensaver start/end, CPU High load and many more.
- File Transfers with on-the-fly compression
