LANalyze (formerly MapPing) is a Command Line tool that takes up less than 650 KB of storage space and does not alter the registry. This makes it convenient to utilize directly from a USB flash drive. With LANalyze, you have the option to save your results in a TXT or CSV file, or even both.
It's worth noting that LANalyze is optimized for analyzing wired local area networks (LANs), which is similar to other programs. However, when used with wireless LANs or hybrid networks, the results may vary due to various factors, such as the availability of repeaters, the quality of devices used, the distance from the router, and the strength of the wireless signal.
For more straightforward use from the Command Line, you can add the path to LANalyze to your "Path" environment variable.
Command Parameters
-r or –range that defines the IP range to scan (for Default is 192.168.0.0-255)
So, to scan the LAN IPs from 192.168.0.30 to 192.168.0.40:
LANalyze –range=192.168.0.30-40
And with the registered version of LANalyze, you can scan from 192.168.0.0 to 192.168.10.255:
LANalyze –range=192.168.0-10.0-255
Together with the download is a PDF with app documentation, including usage, installation, and more.
ONLY IN REGISTERED VERSION: Added a message informing the user of the number of threads used in the scan.
Enhanced the code that releases the memory allocated to mutexes.
Fixed
The "interlocked64.dll" library has been removed due to regression. While it will be used in other projects, it is no longer part of LANalyze.
Identified and fixed an elusive bug that could cause the program to freeze during the final stage of the scan.
Limitations:
The demo version is limited to detecting only three devices within an IP class and can only scan the last octet. Additionally, it's not possible to save the output in a CSV or TXT format. The price is $17.17 (variable depending on the current exchange rate for Euros), and that removes the demo limitations
Simple Port Forwarding works with webpages and not directly with your router making it a safe program to use. Supports 52 Languages and 2600+ routers. Portable version also available.
