Mortal Kombat Outworld Assassins features multiplayer (same screen) and much more. Multiplayer is limited to two players due to bugs with three players. The game is well presented, and the widescreen view adds to the viewing and playing fun.
Ironically this remake is a remake of the original Mortal Kombat Outworld Assassins remake which was initially released in 2010.
Mortal Kombat Outworld Assassins runs by default at 640X480, but you can change that, and more, in the options screen. These include numerous video, sound, control, and system options. And, yes, gamepads are supported. There is also a How to Play section explaining the basic and the numerous moves you can use.
From the minute the game start, you will feel the nostalgia, including the graphics, controls, and music. Some time to get used to the controls on a keyboard is to be expected unless you have a gamepad, which we recommend.
We had a great time playing Double Dragon Reloaded and think you will too.
