Network Traffic Monitor is a lightweight utility that was designed for monitoring internet traffic on your computer. It shows how many bytes were uploaded/downloaded in real-time.

This will be useful in avoiding extra charges if your ISP sets a monthly traffic limit or for keeping track of specific session durations. Network Traffic Monitor has limited settings contained in the interface but you can set a reset point for data either monthly, daily or never as well as activating download/upload limits along with a percentage alert.
