Ulterius allows remote access to another computer directly from your web browser.
Ulterius seems aimed for someone who needs to connect frequently to another computer. For example, someone who has to connect to their remote computer to get files. The reason being is to work from your web browser, Ulterius needs to keep a server running on both computers to accomplish this, unlike a program like TeamViewer.
This server, called the Ulterius Daemon Manage, can be opened to access settings. You can restart or kill Ulterius, open the client (browser), sign up, read the guide, etc.
On startup, you will need to open your web browser and put in http://127.0.0.1:22006, which will load a page and connect with a username and password. This requires that you have a password for your current Windows login. If you don't have a username and password for Windows, it won't work. That seems like a shame that we couldn't log in because we don't use a password, but we understand it's probably a security thing.
Ulterius is currently in beta and seems stable to us at this stage. That said, this is undoubtedly for a specific user, and if you're not interested in beta testing, I would wait for the final release, especially with a remote access app.
