We don't understand Google's fascination with a ton of Pinterest in our search results. Recently, while looking up shower doors, my entire first page was useless Pinterest links from every country that has it. I've accidentally clicked on these more than I can remember.
My search for removing Pinterest search result turned up Unpinterested, which can modify your Google search results by adding the "-site:pinterest.*" parameter to your search. It even removes Pinterest from your image results. Yay!
All you have to do is install the extension and forget about it.
Until Google allows us to define our search results (think never), Unpinterested! gets the job done.
