USB Devices Viewer is a USB information tool for advanced users to determine USB devices, hubs, controllers, events, and all their properties.
For the most part, we all know what USB devices we have and what we're using them for. For the advanced user, the information Windows provides is not always enough if you're trying to trace a problem. Enter USB Devices Viewer, an open source, portable app.
USB Devices Viewer offers a wealth of information that we've rarely seen. USB Devices Viewer is broken down neatly into tabs including USB Devices, USB Hubs, USB Controllers, and USB Tree. Each of these three sections can list every device including VID, PID, Hub:Port, Description, Device ID, and Device Path. One more tab can be found on the far left, and that can show you Device Events.
But wait, there's more. Click on any device and each section also can show you the Properties, Device Registry Properties, and Device Interfaces.
At a glance, you are also shown in each section how many devices, hubs, or controllers are present.
USB Devices Viewer is undoubtedly one of the most detailed USB information apps we've ever seen. USB Devices Viewer manages to display a wealth of information without being confusing or cluttered.
