VOVSOFT Sound Recorder allows you to make straightforward sound recordings into .WAV file format.
It can record audio from your current input device (microphone) and the current output device (loopback recording) by using WASAPI (Windows Audio Session API).
You don't have to hold up a microphone to your computer's speakers to record audio. Even if you don't have a "Stereo Mix" option on your PC, you can easily record the sound coming from any Windows PC as a .WAV file. Vovsoft Sound Recorder doesn't have any pause, etc., functions available. So if you wanted to edit your .WAV file (the only format supported), you would need to have an additional Audio Tool to perform the desired editing. It does include the option of dark mode if you prefer.
VOVSOFT Sound Recorder is a user-friendly option for recording input or output device sounds through a barebones but functional UI.
