zzVisual3D is a cool little app that allows you to manipulate lighting and texture effects on a selectable 3D geometrical shape.
Any shape that you choose to work with, which includes a cylinder, cone, cube, star, among others, will allow you to move the shape on its 3D axis as well as add different materials like gold, polished gold, chrome, copper, etc., to its skin. You can also change the background for better contrast against the geometric shape and add reflection texturing with a chosen image. You can also import your own .stl file and apply all the features provided by zzVisual3D to that image. You can also adjust the size of the .stl image with the mouse wheel. See the Eiffel Tower screenshot, for example.
zzVisual3D is a straightforward graphics utility that is a nice departure from this author's staple of screensavers - not that we don't love the screensavers.
Because some people have asked about the author both here and on other websites, Javier is a regular visitor and indie developer who creates screensavers and small apps and makes them available to MajorGeeks. You may not have heard of Javier before, but MajorGeeks has always supported the smallest of developers since 2001. As always, all files on MajorGeeks are scanned, tested, and reviewed.
