Now that you have all the basics for your survival while on holiday it would probably be a good idea to check the weather - just to make sure that it isn't snowing on Oahu or pouring rain in the Mojave desert.

The Weather Channel app is a pretty popular app but I found it a pain to use on my Android devices, leading me to search for something better. I had avoided WeatherBug because it isn’t a popular app for the desktop but for the Android app; it’s a winner. It can always show you the temperature in the top corner of your screen and everything is laid out so you never find yourself searching for the information you want. Everything is right there including temperature, humidity, wind, sunrise, sunset, alerts and more. There are tabs to jump to hourly, 10-day and details as well as thumbnails at the bottom for radar, photos, summary, live cams, pollen and more. At the time of this write-up, it is one of the better weather apps I have used.
